Caring for the Carers
These pages are to aimed at helping those caring for bereaved families to improve the care they are able to offer.
Carers are people who come alongside bereaved families need support themselves.Carers can be anyone from Healthcare Workers, Ministers, Counsellors, Pastoral Carers or friends and relatives of individuals or families who have experiences a loss Carers need support in both practical ways, (such as education and training, and access to information and research, which can help them to improve the care they offer,) and they need support in emotional ways, (the chance to unload some of the concerns they have encountered and be listened to).
We at The Splash Project, as people who come alongside these families recognise these needs in ourselves, and therefore in other carers. We offer these services to help the carers to care better.
