We recognise that people caring for those who have lost babies can find that they are affected by the loss, and need to talk about their feelings and emotions.
Although for healthcare professionals, it is always ideal to discuss and debrief with other members of the care team who have been involved with the same loss, this can sometimes be difficult.
If you are caring for a friend or relative, there may be no one else who you can talk to about how you are feeling.
In these cases we can offer a confidential and understanding listening ear, by our volunteers, and by members of the medical and nursing profession, who have suffered baby loss themselves, as well as been involved with caring for those who have lost a baby.
